Hello All, today Deb began her recovery. She got up twice, the first time was to just sit in a chair and a few hours later she walked to the door and took a couple of steps out in the hall. It was extremely hard and very painful for her but this is so important for her recovery. Her body needs to wake up and begin kicking back into gear. As painful as her walk was, this was very important. She's very wiped out tonight from her stroll's today and I feel she'll have another restful night.
Tomorrow we hear from pathology as to whether there was any cancer left and how much. If I may ask again for you all to pray that it comes back clean. Again, thanks for all the emails and phone calls checking in.

Dear Debbie and Doug,
This journey has brought you so far. It has not been easy for you but you have been successful at all you needed to do, medically. I will expect and I thank God that you will be in the 25% of those whose pathology reports comes back clear.
Can you hear the chant of prayers being repeated for you? Friends and family from shore to shore, begging the Heavens for your well being? We WILL be heard. You will be returned to perfect health.

I received a call from your mom with the good news. It sounds like all our prayers have been answered. Keep up the good work. Thanks to all your awesome friends and all the support they have given you. I called Ann to give her the good news. She said"EXCELLANT". Love you and will be helping to do cookies again for you.
